  Speak Now Era: 2010-2011 Taylor served a major pushback to her critics when she released her third studio album, Speak Now,  solely written by herself. It amassed a million copies within its first week of release and the story of Speak Now's purple reign begun. This era we see her continuing to embrace her then signature curly hair. Speak Now's  bold, sparkly, royal purple color defined her fashion moments all throughout this era. The Dear John  singer wore gowns shaped like a pastry as a nod to her iconic lyrics.      Taylor treated every ensemble and every appearance in this era as a white-veil occasion.  A Fearless Debut Debut Era: 2006-2007   Let's start at the beginning, 2006 when Taylor Swift first released her self-titled debut album. The country princess, Swift stepped into the scene in classic cowboy boots and bright printed sundresses adorned. Before red lipstick was her signature, Swift always sported ringlet curls in her long blonde hair, the epitome of country chic.  Swift herself was a trendsetter with the asymmetrical hem becoming popular due to how often she was seen in it. In concerts and in her street wear Swift wore many an asymmetrical dress paired with cowboy boots as her shoe of choice.
